Disneyland | Avengers Assemble!

If there was ever a time to live out my nerdy fantasies, the time is now.

This past weekend I finally got to see Avengers Campus with my own eyes and it’s so BEAUTIFUL. 😭😭😭

And yall…it ABSOLUTELY lives up to the hype! It literally feels like stepping on the set of your favorite Marvel movie. 

I couldn’t have picked a better first flight after COVID (ok, we’re still in COVID) than to this amazing land.

Here’s some things to know if you’re going and you’re not from California like me:

1️⃣ All entrances to Avengers Campus are open! So there’s no terribly long lines to get in anymore. You can come and go into the land as you please.

2️⃣ WEB Slingers! My friend and I linked our park passes on the app and set our alarms for 6:55 a.m. so we could wake up and login to the app and try to get boarding passes. At exactly 7 a.m. we refreshed the app, hit join and we were in!

3️⃣ Do you need the fancy WEB slinger accessories for the ride? No. But I have highly enjoyed using my Iron Man repulsor at home on my niece and nephew.

4️⃣ Characters! There are so many characters! It’s worth just milling around the whole day to get your fill of character meet and greets. While a lot of the time they hang out at the Avengers tower, eventually they come down and hang out with the commoners.

5️⃣ You can now find times for when shows will be like Black Widow and Black Panther’s fight on the tower, Dr. Strange’s show at the Sanctum, Spider-Man or the Dora Milaje.

6️⃣ Mobile ordering is everything. I never want to wait in line for stuff ever again. It’s definitely not as bad as it was when the land first opened. No fear of selling out if you don’t order food in the morning. We ordered maybe an hour ahead. And drinks ordered while we were eating our food was ready in 5 min.

7️⃣ I don’t know what it is about that chicken sandwich at Pym’s Test Kitchen, but GET IT. And that giant pretzel.

8️⃣ A lot of the Disney shops don’t have a ton of Marvel stuff, but the Backlot store is the holy grail of Marvel merch. I suggest holding out and shopping there first if you’re a marvel freak like me.

And that’s it! I honestly can’t wait to go back and just take it all in again.
